An IAS officer named Vinodkumar Suman was born in Jakhanu village near Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh. These belong to a very poor farming family. His financial situation was very bad. His father was a farmer, due to which farming was his only source of income. They didn't even have much land. It was also very difficult to get two loaves of bread. Vinodkumar Suman's father worked in agriculture as well as carpet weaving. Let me tell you that Vinodkumar Sum completed his early education from the village.
He also began to help his father. Vinodkumar Suman was the eldest of five brothers and two sisters. In such a situation, the entire responsibility of the family was on him. Despite many problems, he did not want to give up his studies under any circumstances. Somehow he passed the inter. When he decided to pursue further studies, financial problems became his biggest challenge.
Vinodkumar Suman wanted to achieve his goal on his own and he had strong self-confidence. His family situation was not such that he could study on his own. Then they decided to move from their home to the city. There was nothing on his body but clothes. He reached Garhwal. There was no money or building to live in. Eventually he went to a temple and took refuge with a priest. The priest gave them a corner in the courtyard of the temple and also gave them some offerings to eat. Somehow they spent the night in the temple and went out the next day in search of work.
Vinodkumar Suman was wandering in search of work. He saw that an accessible toilet was under construction at Srinagar Garhwal. He then talked to the contractor that after applying there he was hired to work there. Let me tell you - they were paid only માત્ર 25 at the time. Suman used to spend the night in the temple veranda with the help of sheets and sacks for the first 1 month. They ate a little and filled their stomachs.
Vinodkumar Suman lived like this for a few months. He later decided to enroll in a city university. Let me tell you that he did his first year B.A. in Srinagar Garhwal University. Took admission in. In the year 1995, Vinodkumar Sum did a Diploma in Public Administration and started preparing for the Administrative Services Examination. In the meantime he got a job as an accountant in the Accountant General's office. After getting the job, he continued his preparation. He was selected in PCS in the year 1997.
